Frequently asked questions
How do I add a ticket?
On the Home tab, tap Enter manually. Pick the game and drawing date, enter your numbers (or tap Quick pick), add Power Play or the multiplier if you bought it, check State where bought, then tap Save ticket.
You can also tap Scan ticket and take a photo or choose one from Photos. Check the numbers the App read, fix anything that looks wrong, then save.
Ultimate members can bring in past tickets from a spreadsheet: More > Records > Import from Excel/CSV.
How do I know if I won?
After each drawing, the App downloads the official winning numbers and checks your saved tickets automatically. Results in the App are for information only. Always confirm with the official game website, your state lottery, or an authorized retailer, and keep your paper ticket.
Why does the App ask which state I bought my ticket in?
Prize claim deadlines depend on the state where the ticket was bought. The App fills in your home state, and you can change it when you enter a ticket or on the ticket’s detail screen. Always confirm the deadline with that state’s lottery.
How do alerts work?
Go to More > Alerts and turn on what you want: Results reminder, Weekly report, Claim deadline alert, or Limit alert. The App asks for notification permission the first time you turn one on. Alerts are scheduled on your phone. If you turned notifications off, open your iPhone’s Settings > Lotto Receipts > Notifications.
How does the free trial work?
Eligible new subscribers can try Pro free for 1 month (More > Manage plan > Start 1-month free trial). Apple manages the trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it becomes a paid Pro subscription at the price you chose. Ultimate has no free trial.
I have a promotional code. How do I use it?
Go to the bottom of the More tab and tap Redeem code, then enter your code and tap Submit. Apple checks the code and applies it to your Apple Account. You can also redeem it in the App Store app. Our promotional codes give free Pro time that does not renew and is never charged — when it ends, you simply return to the Free plan and keep all your records.
Promotional codes are for new subscribers. If you already started the free trial with this Apple Account, the code may not work.
How do I restore my purchases?
Go to More > Manage plan and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account you used to subscribe.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > Lotto Receipts > Cancel Subscription, or tap Manage subscription in More > Manage plan. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current period ends to avoid the next charge. Your records and free features stay after you cancel. Refunds are handled by Apple.
How do I delete my data?
Your tickets and settings are stored only on your phone.
- In the App, go to More > Other > Reset all data. This deletes your tickets and settings and returns the App to its first-launch state.
- Or delete the App from your iPhone. This removes everything it stored on your phone.
There is no account and no copy of your tickets on our servers. To have the anonymous subscription record kept by our subscription provider deleted, email support@onexistech.com. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I turn AI reading on or off?
Go to More > Other > AI reading and use the switch.
- On: the consent screen appears. If you tap Agree, only the number area of a ticket photo (barcode covered) is sent to Anthropic (Claude) for a second read.
- Off: photos are read only on your phone. You can always enter tickets by hand.
The camera doesn’t work in the App.
If you didn’t allow camera access, tap Allow camera in Settings on the scan screen, or open your iPhone’s Settings > Lotto Receipts and turn on Camera. You can also choose a photo from Photos or tap Enter manually instead.
Does the App sell lottery tickets?
No. Lotto Receipts does not sell tickets, take bets, or pay prizes, and it is not affiliated with Powerball, Mega Millions, or any lottery. It is a ledger for tickets you bought yourself.
Where can I get help with gambling?
Call 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537) for free, confidential help, 24 hours a day.
